Business Development Manager

About the Role:
The Business Development Manager is a key position at First National, responsible for driving sales and service excellence in the mortgage industry. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be the face of our company, building strong relationships with broker clients and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase broker and portfolio volumes
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring broker clients have up-to-date marketing materials and are educated on our products and services
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through email marketing and other mediums
- Collaborate with the broker and underwriting teams to resolve service or underwriting issues
- Manage budgets and attend networking events to build relationships and stay informed about industry trends
- Prepare sales logs, expense reports, and business plans to support senior management
Requirements:
- Proven sales and customer service experience in the mortgage industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies
