Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Attendant III to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Sort and store articles in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized inventory.
- Process requisitions and orders, assembling and shipping supplies as required.
- Identify and report damaged or spoiled goods, coordinating returns and replacements as necessary.
- Perform physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records, replenishing stock as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Operate a variety of vehicles, including trucks up to 10,000 lbs, to transport supplies and materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment, recommending repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Grade 12 plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Class 5 vehicle license, if applicable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Ability to operate related equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
