Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Technician to join our team at 2720455 Ontario Inc. as a Hardware Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Hardware Installation: Install and configure computer hardware, including servers, desktops, and laptops, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Network Administration: Manage and maintain our computer networks, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical problems, including hardware and software issues, to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support or hardware installation role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardware, including device drivers, networking software, and hardware.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 32-40 hour workweek. The work environment is a help desk and office building setting, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
