Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented User Support Technician to join our team at 2720455 Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of computer systems and network security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems, networks, and software
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Document and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
  • Provide customer service and support to users
  • Manage incidents and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, network security, and software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
