Job Title: Technical Product Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Engineer to join our team at MEDA Engineering and Technical Services, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and organizing technical activities related to vehicle composition, product/process convergence, and change management.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate vehicle composition, including core structure and interchangeability
  • Coordinate product/process convergence, including hard points in zone meetings
  • Organize Connections/Fasteners meetings to coordinate technical core team activities and identify roadblocks
  • Define KPIs and follow-up with the Technical Manager
  • Prepare and coordinate Change Management meetings
  • Contribute to quality convergence by synchronizing part modifications with project planning
  • Coordinate product/process convergence and reactivity as a Technical Manager deputy
  • Support defects solving coordination for main defects on Painting, Welding, and Assembly
  • Coordinate vehicle rework during the project
  • Support the Technical Manager with vehicles program complexity reduction plan
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of automotive industry experience at an OEM or large tier 1 in Product development engineering
  • Technical data performance, including scope sheet updates, CAD integrity, and release status
  • Vehicle/Program BOM integrity and release status working with various commodity areas
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Advanced to expert skill level in using Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills:
  • Full Program Life-cycle experience
  • Launch experience
  • Manufacturing process fundamentals understanding
  • Ability to quickly learn proprietary software
