Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at 2720455 Ontario Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide technical support to our employees, ensuring they have access to computer networks and resolving any difficulties they may experience with their computers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to employees, including setting up equipment and performing software installations.
  • Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other technical support analysts to maintain a problems and solutions log.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve user experience.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to employees.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Provide customer service and manage incidents.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of networking software, security, and Internet protocols.
  • Experience with MS Windows, SharePoint, and other relevant software.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an office building, with a team of 1 to 2 people. The work environment is dynamic, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
