Position Overview:

The Implementation and Product Specialist will engage in the technical facets of the deployment process for new and expanding projects at CB Canada. Individuals in this role are tasked with consulting clients, collecting requirements, showcasing best practices, steering functional design discussions, and contributing to the delivery of solutions utilizing the Salesforce platform.

This position is fully remote and open to candidates across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate business requirements gathering sessions and design workshops with clients and/or partners, employing consulting techniques to comprehend business challenges.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end process integrations, customization, maintenance, and deployment of components related to product roadmap and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce and various internal teams to devise innovative business solutions.
  • Develop design specifications and produce implementation/support documentation and mapping.
  • Provide estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases, ensuring quality and precision.
  • Ensure client configuration and business requirements documents are accurate, comprehensive, and approved by the client.
  • Participate in configuring test and production environments based on the agreed solution design; manage data uploads and conduct client demonstrations as necessary.
  • Actively enhance product knowledge through self-study, attending meetings, and participating in projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in software implementation, ideally within a technology organization supporting cloud-based applications requiring consulting.
  • Over 5 years of experience in integration technologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience with application integration layers and customization.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects using recognized implementation methodologies.
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and/or Managed Service Provider (MSP) implementations.
  • Familiarity with data transformation tools.
  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) is preferred.
  • Proficient in XML/XSL and Web Services (UDDI, SOAP, REST, WSDL).
  • Experience in workflow development and configuration.
  • Understanding of IT transformation and experience managing business needs and requirements to IT deliverables.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with the Salesforce platform.
  • Strong design and development skills for web-based SaaS applications.
  • Solid background in application development and systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Visio, Excel, Word, PPT).
  • Able to work with both business and technical stakeholders; capable of making recommendations and presenting to executives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, acting as a liaison between groups.
  • Strong strategic skills, capable of translating reporting and analysis into actionable insights and execution plans.
  • Adept at breaking down and prioritizing complex requirements into clear specifications.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to define and execute projects independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Services, or a related field.
