**Job Summary**
**School District #73 (Kamloops-Thompson)** is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated **Instructional Support Specialist** to support the school during a transition in leadership. The successful applicant will provide critical support to complex students in the office, offer Learning Assistance Resource Teacher (LART) support, assume approximately 0.5 classroom teaching responsibilities, and provide extra supervision and support as required by the Principal.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support complex students in the office
- Provide LART support
- Assume approximately 0.5 classroom teaching responsibilities
- Provide extra supervision and support as required by the Principal
**Travel Requirements:** Travel to other schools within the district may be required, resulting in mileage reimbursement for the successful applicant.
**Compensation:** The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $64,594 to $106,217, prorated to FTE. Placement on the grid is based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
