The University of Regina seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technology Support Assistant to join its Library team. As a key member of the Library's technical support team, the successful candidate will provide expert technical assistance to faculty and staff, ensuring seamless access to technology resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update content on the Library's website, blog, and other digital platforms as directed.
- Collaborate with the Library Technical Analyst to deploy new equipment and software.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of faculty and staff computers and peripherals.
- Track updates and equipment, and maintain accurate records in a centralized source.
- Provide technical support for faculty and staff, including hardware and software issues.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support, with a strong understanding of PC hardware and software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new software and hardware configurations.
