Key Responsibilities
  • Execute administrative duties to support the team.
  • Plan and oversee development initiatives.
  • Address inquiries from the business community regarding development opportunities.
  • Advise on procedures and requirements for governmental approval of development proposals.
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for various products.
  • Act as the spokesperson for the organization.
  • Respond to both written and verbal inquiries.
  • Assist in creating brochures, reports, newsletters, and other communication materials.
  • Coordinate special promotional events and publicity campaigns.
  • Gather, research, and prepare communication materials.
  • Conduct analytical studies on marketing.
  • Perform social or economic surveys to evaluate development potential and trends.
  • Review and assess commercial or industrial development proposals.
  • Design market research surveys.
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials.
  • Engage in online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions.
  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies.
  • Develop and execute business plans.
  • Maintain and manage a digital database.
  • Write and edit press releases and other communication materials.
  • Provide consultation to clients post-sale for ongoing support.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The role includes supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.

Professional Affiliations

Membership in the Canadian Public Relations Society is required.

Experience Requirements
