Hematologist - Clinical Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our clinical medicine department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Blood Disorders: Conduct thorough medical examinations and order laboratory tests to diagnose and treat patients with blood disorders.
- Conduct Medical Research: Participate in medical research studies to improve our understanding of blood disorders and develop new treatments.
- Prescribe Medication and Treatment: Prescribe medication and treatment plans for patients with blood disorders.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in hematology or a related field.
- Certifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
As a Hematologist at The Hospital for Sick Children, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical tasks.
