About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hematologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of hematology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with hematological disorders, including blood cancers and bleeding disorders.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in hematology to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication and other interventions, to manage patient conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Completion of a residency program in hematology or a related field.
  • Board certification in hematology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hematology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
