Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards are met.

Educational Requirements

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff.
  • Provide training on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost analyses.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the kitchen team.
  • Possess knowledge of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of meal trays and delivery of food carts.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of 1 to 2 staff members.
Transportation and Travel
  • Public transportation options are accessible.
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.

Experience Requirements
