As a key representative of Shape Process Automation Group, you will engage with both prospective and existing clients, delivering sustainable value solutions tailored to their needs. Your role will encompass managing national accounts, collaborating with selected equipment manufacturers, and overseeing channel partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute order bookings in alignment with the strategic plan set by the Sales Vice President.
- Foster strong customer relationships while managing expectations throughout the purchasing process, including system installations and aftermarket services.
- Gather and relay critical market intelligence, including customer business dynamics, competitive landscape, and product performance.
- Identify and oversee regional accounts and channel partnerships as necessary.
- Deliver formal sales presentations during introductory meetings, management briefings, and training sessions.
- Conduct regular visits to existing clients to enhance business relationships and inform them of relevant technological advancements.
- Provide weekly reports to the home office detailing expenses, sales forecasts, and customer support updates.
- Assist in the training and development of regional sales representatives and channel partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated business acumen and commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to empathize with customers and leverage potential value in solution design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively as needed.
- High interpersonal skills to effectively engage with others and incorporate feedback.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including potential extended trips.
Technical or application sales personnel may report to this position following their training.
Educational Background:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Sales/Marketing, or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in value-selling methodologies.
- Familiarity with company products/services and competitive offerings.
- A minimum of five years in capital equipment sales.
- At least two years in a sales management capacity.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
