As a representative of Flow International Corporation, you will engage with both new and existing clients, delivering sustainable value solutions tailored to their needs. This role involves overseeing national accounts and collaborating with selected equipment manufacturers and channel partners. You will operate autonomously, with occasional guidance from your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve order targets as established by the Vice President of Sales.
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships while managing their expectations throughout the purchasing process for systems and aftermarket services.
  • Relay critical customer and market insights, including business situations and opportunities for implementing Flow technology.
  • Identify and oversee regional accounts and channel partners as necessary.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations during initial meetings, management briefings, and training sessions.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing clients to strengthen business relationships and inform them about new technological advancements.
  • Provide weekly reports to the home office detailing expenses, sales forecasts, call reports, and updates from the customer support team.
  • Assist in the training and development of assigned regional sales representatives and channel partners.

  • High interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including occasional extended trips.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position may oversee technical or application sales personnel following their training.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical), Sales/Marketing, or Business, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Training and proven experience in value-based selling.
  • Familiarity with Flow products/services and competitive offerings.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in capital equipment sales.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a sales management role.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite applications.
