Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Sales Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling software products or services to businesses. Your role will require a combination of technical knowledge, software skills, sales skills, and relationship-building expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Management
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and inbound leads.
    • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring they continue to use our products or services.
    • Track sales interactions and manage client interactions using CRM software.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution
    • Develop sales pitches and presentations tailored to address client pain points and needs.
    • Manage pricing and contract terms to close deals that are beneficial for both the company and the client.
    • Work towards meeting or exceeding quarterly and yearly sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of our software products, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' products to differentiate our offerings.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams
    • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and strategies to generate new leads.
    • Provide feedback from clients to help guide marketing development.
Requirements
  • Technical Understanding
    • Basic technical knowledge: The ability to grasp technical concepts related to the implementation and integration of Business Intelligence solutions is essential.
    • Understanding of cloud and on-premise deployments: Familiarity with the pros and cons of both options is required.
  • Sales Experience
    • Proven track record in B2B software sales: Experience in selling software solutions, particularly complex systems, is key.
    • Consultative sales approach: The ability to understand customer pain points and position our solution to address those challenges is essential.
    • Long sales cycle management: Selling our solution typically involves long sales cycles due to the complexity and cost of the solution. Project management skills are key.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills
    • Ability to convey value: Selling our solution requires clear communication of the product's value to non-technical decision-makers.
    • Strong presentation skills: The ability to communicate our solutions' features and benefits through compelling presentations, customized to the client's business needs, is essential.
  • Certifications and Education
    • IBM Certification: Education courses and study material will be provided for you to take.
