About the Role

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our key customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Growth: Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand our partnership with key customers.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Proactively identify and resolve key customer issues and opportunities by offering solution-based alternatives.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Utilize strong analytical skills to track market trends, provide detailed forecasting strategies, and influence merchandising decisions at customer locations.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of key accounts' business needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with key customers and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and meet business objectives.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams to identify and grow opportunities within the territory and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent industry experience.
  • Language Proficiency: English language proficiency – written and spoken.
  • Experience: Proven experience of 6+ years in sales with recent role as an Account Executive or relevant role in the tire industry, including 3-5 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience.
  • Skills: Proven track record in sales and ability to meet/exceed targets, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong negotiation and decision-making skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and strong analytical skills.
