Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies to meet office needs and ensure compliance with provincial legislation.
- Design and implement talent acquisition processes that align with our 12-step hiring process, ensuring best practices for recruitment and onboarding.
- Lead escalated workplace investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings.
- Manage employee culture training, leadership development, and succession planning to enhance competitive ability.
- Implement the professional development strategy for the business unit, collaborating with organizational leaders and the National framework.
- Manage the promotion process in alignment with National office procedures.
- Review, manage, and improve the performance review process.
- Act as a business partner with operations, ensuring all employee needs are met.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to implement HR Metrics according to individual branch needs and goals.
- Maintain an open-door policy and perform other duties as requested.
- Completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in a full-cycle Human Resources role, ideally in the security or related industry, with a minimum 2+ years in a management-level HR role.
- Results-driven with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, adept at providing leadership and working side-by-side with the team.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, implement change, and assess the impact on the office and staff.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage remote HR teams.
- Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think outside the box.
- Proven ability to embrace change and adversity in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
- Strong project management skills to lead projects and create employee buy-in.
- Provincial Employment Law and current legislation related to employment practices.
