Client Care Specialist in Veterinary Services

Location: Oakville, ON

VCA Canada is currently seeking a dedicated Client Care Specialist to enhance our clinic's customer service experience. This casual role encompasses a variety of duties that contribute to the smooth and effective operation of our veterinary facility. Your main objective is to ensure that both our clients and their pets receive a warm welcome, expert care, and feel valued during their visit.

  • Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere for our patients and their guardians
  • Support veterinary personnel with various tasks and treatments as needed
  • Manage a multiline phone system, efficiently handling appointment scheduling
  • Conduct follow-up calls to pet owners for future appointments and inquiries
  • Handle email communications with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal messages
  • Oversee the admission and discharge processes for pet patients
  • Process invoicing and billing, including creating estimates and obtaining confirmations from pet owners
  • Schedule appointments with precision
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a comforting environment for all
  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities
  • Maintain cleanliness in the reception area, pet holding areas, and communal spaces
  • Show eagerness to learn more about veterinary services and updated office procedures, assisting veterinary staff as necessary
