Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Assistant at Island Health. The successful candidate will possess a Grade 12 graduation and additional courses in Microsoft Office, as well as one year of recent related clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience working with adults and youth with mental health and substance use issues is an asset.

Key Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to type 55 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access).
  • Ability to operate various office equipment, including photocopiers and fax machines.
