We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Taunton Commercial Bakery Inc. as a Retail Butcher. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Prepare standard cuts of meat for display and sale
- Wrap and package prepared meats for customer purchase
- Remove bones from meat to ensure quality and safety
- Supervise other butchers and meat cutters to ensure efficient and safe work practices
- Prepare special displays of meats and seafood products to attract customers
- Shape and tie roasts and other meats for display and sale
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail butcher or meat cutting role
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demands
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Permanent full-time position
- 35 hours per week
- English language required
