Carcass Cutter and Meat Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Taunton Commercial Bakery Inc. as a key member of our production staff.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring a high level of quality and food safety.
- Cut and Trim Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, as well as cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Cut Poultry and Fish: Cut poultry into parts and clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale.
- Price Meat Products: Price meat products accurately and efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and Assist: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, as well as assist with grinding meats and making special sausages.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
