Butcher - Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at Taunton Commercial Bakery Inc. as a key member of our retail meat cutting department.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparation: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to prepare standard cuts of meat for retail sale.
- Meat Handling: Handle and process meat products in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to ensure efficient and effective meat processing.
- Display and Presentation: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers and promote sales.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all meat products meet company standards.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
