QSR Food Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled QSR Food Services Manager to join our team at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. As a QSR Food Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of national brands (Tim Horton's, Starbucks, Subway) as well as our own proprietary Aramark brands.

Key Responsibilities
As a QSR Food Services Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with the Food Service Director on matters related to hiring, layoffs, and terminations
- Coordinating with the Food Service Director to meet targets for top-line revenue, food costs, and labor costs
- Managing and training supervisors
- Coordinating with supervisors to ensure compliance with food safety and revenue standards
- Maintaining safety standards at the location
- Handling staff questions and concerns, and working with the Food Service Director on disciplinary actions
- Resolving customer complaints
- Coordinating with franchisee district managers for store-related training, promotions, and support
- Maintaining proper payroll procedures
- Ensuring a quality service is provided to all guests
- Resolving day-to-day operational issues
Qualifications
To be successful as a QSR Food Services Manager, you will need:
- Excellent task delegation and work planning skills
- Ability to organize, compose, and review daily financial reports
- Experience in scheduling, staff positioning, and conflict resolution
- Customer service background preferred
- Previous experience in Quick Service, Clearview an asset (TIMS applications/systems)
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Positive attitude
- Previous management experience required
- Food Safe certification preferred, but we can help facilitate if needed
Education
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
Compensation
Range: $50,000 - $65,000
