About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Biopharma Biostatistics Director to lead our biopharma biostatistics team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational direction of our biopharma biostatistics activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement strategic plans for biopharma biostatistics activities
    • Lead and manage a team of biostatisticians and statistical programmers
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Biopharma Biostatistics Expertise
    • Design and implement clinical development plans, clinical trial protocols, and statistical analysis plans
    • Lead the execution of statistical analyses, interim safety and efficacy reports, clinical study reports, and scientific manuscript development
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory practices and industry data standards
  • Business Development and Client Management
    • Develop and maintain relationships with biopharma clients and sponsors
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop proposals and bid defenses
  • Team Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop biostatisticians and statistical programmers
    • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members
    • Conduct performance reviews and develop career growth plans
Requirements
  • MS or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Epidemiology
  • 12+ years of experience in biopharma biostatistics, with a PhD, or 15+ years of experience with a MS degree
  • Proven leadership and management experience, including team management and business development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with business judgment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
