Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at 1367540 B.C. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, service, and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective food service delivery.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of food service staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve their performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets for food services operations.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
    • Monitor and control inventory costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotion strategies to increase sales and revenue.
    • Collaborate with other departments to promote food services and increase customer awareness.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food services management.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to supervise and train staff.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety practices.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of food service staff. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
