Join Our Team as a Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations in a remote northern Canadian community. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for developing store-specific action plans, directing all activities within the store, and ensuring customer service standards and performance targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement store-specific action plans to achieve planned profitability, sales, and controllable expense targets.
  • Manage budgets, labor costs, inventory control, product presentation, and merchandising.
  • Monitor cash, receivables, and store controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels to maximize sales, inventory turns, and return on investment.
  • Develop a community relations plan to foster long-term business relationships with customers, community stakeholders, and political leaders.
  • Lead and control the goals and standards for the store, including customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume grocery/retail environment.
  • Record of bottom-line and sales results in previous roles.
  • Computer knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of grocery operating principles.
  • Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
