Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Manitoba Ltd (O/A Shell Canada). As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of retail salespersons and sales clerks to provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of store operations.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 staff members, including grocery clerks and shelf stockers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of retail management experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
- Free Parking: Convenient parking available for employees.
- Permanent Position: Full-time employment with a permanent contract.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours of Work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
