Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Director to join our team at Boeing Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the Western and Central Canada region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans.
  • Provide regular sales reports and metrics to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and improve market position.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Boeing's products and services, as well as the needs and requirements of our customers.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations, providing expert knowledge and support to help close deals.
  • Assist in the development of sales materials, including proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
  • Contribute to the development of sales training programs, to ensure that the sales team has the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical outside sales and marketing.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (MS-BI/Salesforce/Siebel, etc.)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the aerospace or aviation market.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of aviation material sales and services.
  • Business and general aviation background.
  • Experience working with Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) providers, Fixed-base Operators (FBO's), Helicopter Operators, OEM's and/or corporate aviation entities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
