We are seeking an experienced and creative Director of Children's Ministries who can develop and implement engaging programs for children in grades 2-5. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of volunteers and staff, and will work closely with the Children's Ministry Team Leader to achieve our ministry goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver all aspects of the children's program, including curriculum, activities, and events.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Small Group leaders, volunteers, and Kids Krew in the children's program.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and kid-friendly environment conducive to learning and growth in faith.
  • Manage resources, supplies, and rooms to support the children's program.
  • Develop and maintain accurate check-in and registration data for children and volunteers.
  • Build ministry relationships with parents, guardians, volunteers, and children in the children's program.
  • Help plan and execute special events in the children's ministry, including Daycamp, Under the Big Top, and Family Christmas Breakfast.
  • Stay current on children's ministry best practices and changes in the wider church globally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in theology or education.
  • Children's ministry leadership experience.
  • Pastoral care skills and experience working with children.
  • Experience in ministry program development and hands-on implementation.
  • Demonstrated financial responsibility with budgeting and management of resources.
  • A clear call to ministry to families and children.
