We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at WOW Store Red Deer. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, and team player.
