About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Red Deer OJs Ltd. o/a Original Joe's Red Deer. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.

Culinary Operations

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that they are presented in a visually appealing manner.

Staff Training and Development

Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they meet our high standards.

Inventory Management

Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Health and Safety

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet health and safety standards, and take corrective action as necessary.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
