We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at ABC Country Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and presented in a safe and appealing manner.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
