About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Ventura Room. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bar Operations
    • Arrange the bar area to create visually appealing displays
    • Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
    • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and equipment
  • Customer Service
    • Provide recommendations on drink selections to enhance the customer experience
    • Collect payment for beverages and record sales
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Inventory Management
    • Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, including beverages and supplies
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and excellent oral communication skills
