About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mixology Expert to join our team at Ventura Room. As a key member of our bar operations team, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our cocktail lounge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bar Area Management: Arrange the bar area to create visually appealing displays and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Operations Management: Organize the daily operations of the cocktail lounge, including inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including making drink recommendations, taking orders, and addressing customer complaints.
  • Financial Management: Collect payments, record sales, and balance beverage sales.
  • Inventory Management: Store and maintain inventory of beverages and food products.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with serving staff to take beverage orders and ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a Responsible Beverage Service Certificate and a Serving It Right Certificate.
