About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Ventura Room. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bar Operations
    • Organize and maintain a clean and attractive bar area, including the display of beverages and glassware.
    • Manage the inventory and ordering of bar stock, including beverages and supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide recommendations on drink selections and take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with serving staff to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications
    • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.
    • Serving It Right Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
