Key Responsibilities- Bar Operations: Organize and maintain a clean and attractive bar area, including the storage and inventory of beverages and supplies.
- Cocktail Creation: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests.
- Customer Service: Provide recommendations on drink selections, address customer complaints, and enforce liquor legislation and regulations.
- Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, including beverages and supplies.
- Financial Transactions: Collect cash, credit/debit card payments, and record and balance beverage sales.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Urban area, restaurant environment.
- Certifications: Responsible Beverage Service Certificate, Serving It Right Certificate.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a dynamic environment.
