**General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team at Time Out Market. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency across our market.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operating standards, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency and quality across our market.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, manage, coach, counsel, and evaluate a team of professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Financial Management: Monitor sales and expenses, approve purchase orders, and manage the budget to ensure financial targets are met.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest has a memorable experience, from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
- Marketing and Partnerships: Work closely with our marketing and events teams to develop and execute marketing plans that drive sales and revenue growth.
- Community Engagement: Participate in community events and ensure that our corporate social responsibility goals are met.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that inventory levels are maintained, and strict inventory controls are in place to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met, and that all staff are trained to maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and colleagues.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong understanding of commercial operations.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals to deliver exceptional results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and external partners.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
