About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Cooperation Consultant to join our team at Huawei.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with key academic organizations in the ICT field, including IEEE, ACM, IET, USENIX, CECAM, ICIAM, and others.
  • Cooperation Planning: Create and implement cooperation plans to address global industrial challenges, leveraging competitions, funds, academic journals, conferences, and seminars/workshops.
  • Resource Integration: Integrate internal and external resources to ensure successful project implementation and achievement of cooperation objectives.
  • Expert Network Management: Manage connections with high-end academic experts within and outside the company.
  • Trend Analysis: Gain insight into the internal dynamics of academic organizations and technology development trends through participation in academic conferences or analysis of journal papers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Industry Expertise: Possess a broad vision of cutting-edge science and technologies in the ICT field, particularly in software, computing, and semiconductors.
  • Collaboration Skills: Capable of understanding trends in academic research and collaborating with academic organizations, along with a strong capability of generating reports.
  • Leadership Experience: Have more than five years of experience in ecosystem and industry development or technical research management in the ICT field, with a significant academic influence.
  • Academic Background: Understand the operations of academic organizations and possess a working background in relevant academic or multilateral organizations.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, continuously improving, and accepting new challenges.
