Job Title: Academic Guidance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Academic Guidance Specialist to join our team at CanNorth College of Health, Business, and Technology. The successful candidate will provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them achieve their educational and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, including counseling on educational, career, and personal issues.
  • Attend educational conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of academic programs and services.
  • Arrange for recruitment of graduating students by employers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Work Setting: Post-secondary educational institution.
