About Cardinal Health Canada: Cardinal Health Canada plays a crucial role in the healthcare supply chain, employing over 1300 individuals nationwide and offering more than 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and professionals across the country.

Position Overview: We are currently looking for an Operations Coordinator to become a part of our Operations team in a full-time permanent role within our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy of inventory within the Distribution Centre and oversee operational processes.
  • Manage inventory transactions, financial reporting, and credit processing.
  • Act as a communication bridge between the Operations Department and various stakeholders including finance, customer service, and sales.
  • Log and resolve inbound receiving discrepancies, collaborating with vendors and buyers.
  • Support the Operations Manager in coordinating employee training requirements.
  • Provide administrative assistance, including invoice coding and month-end accruals.
  • Oversee facility management tasks such as supply purchasing and office equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Inventory and Warehouse teams to manage RAQA holds.
  • Facilitate the return of goods by communicating directly with customers.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives and committee activities.
  • Coordinate facility-level events and perform various operational tasks as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to resolve issues and complete daily responsibilities.
  • Adhere to company policies and practices while supporting other locations as necessary.
  • Demonstrate strong data entry skills and the ability to work effectively with numbers.
  • Exhibit resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Manage time efficiently and maintain strong organizational skills.
  • Utilize intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Previous experience in inventory processing or distribution centers is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
