About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at DYK Logistics Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute plans to prioritize tasks, optimize workflows, and improve overall logistics efficiency.
  • Manage Operational Logistics: Oversee the operational logistics of our organization, including inventory management, transportation coordination, and warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of logistics-related tasks.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Generate and submit regular reports on logistics performance, including metrics on inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery times.
  • Ensure Smooth Operation of Equipment and Machinery: Troubleshoot and maintain computer equipment, machinery, and other logistics-related assets to ensure optimal performance.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train logistics staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review the performance of logistics staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Coordinate and Assign Work: Assign tasks and responsibilities to logistics staff, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition and Order Materials and Supplies: Procure and manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for logistics operations.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, team player, analytical, proactive.
