TRIUMF is dedicated to enhancing isotope science and technology, promoting collaboration across various disciplines including nuclear and particle physics, as well as life and material sciences. By becoming part of our diverse community, you will have the opportunity to engage in thrilling initiatives such as the Hi-Lumi project at CERN and contribute to research programs focused on student involvement.

As a member of the RF Department at TRIUMF, you will be instrumental in supporting superconducting RF projects and systems. Your involvement will span from cavity testing to cryomodule assembly, engaging in essential SRF research and the operation of SRF systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for SRF projects, including the Hi-Lumi cryomodule initiative
  • Assist with student-led activities in SRF research and testing
  • Contribute to the operation and upkeep of SRF systems at TRIUMF

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in SRF physics and technology, with expertise in areas such as electromagnetic modeling, cryogenics, and RF systems.

Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

Location: On-site

Work Hours: 35 hours per week
