Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Department of Radiology at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral research fellow position.

Job Summary:

Our team is seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow to join a dynamic team to develop radiopharmaceuticals using emerging radioisotopes. We have unparalleled access to promising radionuclides and the ability to develop radiopharmaceuticals to preclinical and clinical use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a novel Ac-225 based radiopharmaceutical: prepare preclinical study protocols, carry out the bio-distribution, toxicity and therapy monitoring studies.
  • Represent the project at conference symposia as well as publish the study data in the peer-reviewed literature.
Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent field of research. Intimate knowledge and hands-on experience with cell culture, tumour inoculation and rodent care are required. Communication and coordination skills are strong assets.
