Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the position of Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist. This role involves managing specific projects or cases related to patient reimbursement and coordination within the organization. Working closely with the dispensing pharmacist, the Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist will oversee the management of patient cases and serve as the primary contact for healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all necessary steps to secure prescription drug coverage for patients;
- Engage with insurance companies, medical offices, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement outcomes;
- Handle documentation, submissions, and all relevant paperwork for insurance companies and public funding programs;
- Develop and maintain relationships with essential clinics;
- Coordinate pharmacy processes once funding is secured;
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms;
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory;
- Previous experience in a reimbursement capacity is highly valued;
- Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is advantageous;
- A minimum of 2 years in customer or client service roles;
- Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications (including Google apps, Word, Excel);
- Professional and courteous telephone communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team;
- Attention to detail is essential;
- Ability to resolve issues in an effective and efficient manner;
- Creative problem-solving skills;
- Availability to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM EST.
