About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless coordination of patient services, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our team members to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing timely and effective communication and support.
- Coordinate patient services, including program enrollment, injection training, and pharmacy options, to ensure rapid and continuous access to therapy.
- Work collaboratively with insurance companies, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals to provide optimal reimbursement support and ensure seamless coordination of patient services.
- Manage all aspects of coverage to maximize and maintain prescription drug coverage, ensuring patients receive the necessary support and resources.
- Regularly interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare professionals to provide education and support, and to ensure patient onboarding and adherence to treatment plans.
- Coordinate prescriptions, including initial and renewal requests, and ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor and report adverse events, and provide support and resources to patients and healthcare professionals as needed.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset, particularly for the province of Quebec.
- Experience in a customer service setting, with a strong focus on patient care and coordination.
- Post-secondary education certificate, diploma, or degree is an asset.
- Experience in public or private third-party reimbursement, call center settings, or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, clinical support, or related experience is an asset.
- Comprehension of medical information and knowledge of public, private, and federal reimbursement is an asset.
- Previous work using a CRM system is an asset.
- Project management skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting are essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills, phone etiquette, and ability to communicate effectively in both English and French (oral and written) for the Quebec and New Brunswick Provinces are required.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once.
- Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity, and adhere to Performance Standards and Procedures required by the program.
