Job Description

The Surveillance Center Video Agent plays a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our facilities. Reporting to the Surveillance Center Supervisor, this individual will be responsible for monitoring live video surveillance images and information, processing alarms and calls, and conducting video investigations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the security of establishments by observing and processing live video surveillance images and information;
  • Carry out technical checks on video surveillance equipment;
  • Create and manage access controls;
  • Receive, manage and dispatch telephone calls;
  • Manage and process incoming alarm signals;
  • Alert, deploy and coordinate emergency services as required;
  • Write various types of reports;
  • Work closely with investigators;
  • Perform videotape analysis for process improvement;

Requirements

  • Possess the BSP electronic security systems card or be able to take the course once hired;
  • Experience in security (asset);
  • Must be bilingual (French and English);
  • Valid class 5 driver's license (asset);
