Our platform is trusted by 16 of the top 20 industrial distributors, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Manager, Content Marketing.

The Role

We're seeking a creative and results-driven Senior Manager, Content Marketing to lead our content strategy, calendar, and operations. This role will be responsible for producing high-quality content across the buyer journey, from SEO and digital authority to account-based marketing and customer upsell/cross-sell. The ideal candidate will have a passion for producing engaging content and a strategic focus to guide our audience through the buyer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a content marketing strategy and editorial calendar, incorporating audience insights, personas, keyword research, and content performance analytics.
  2. Create a steady stream of primary and derivative assets, including research reports, infographics, blog posts, videos, executive summaries, and webinars.
  3. Collect, analyze, and report on content marketing success using web analytics tools, marketing automation platforms, social media management tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  4. Contribute to SEO and search engine marketing initiatives with keyword optimization, content tagging, and metadata management.
  5. Implement and evangelize content marketing best practices, including the use of AI and experimentation.
  6. Collaborate with marketing program owners, content strategists, and campaign managers to integrate and repurpose content marketing and campaign content.
  7. Rationalize, find, hire, and manage internal content marketing resources, agencies, consultants, or freelancers as needed.
Qualifications
  1. A proven track record of building a content marketing engine that has directly contributed to rapid pipeline and bookings growth.
  2. 7 or more years of content marketing or related experience, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS company.
  3. Hands-on writing and content creation experience, ideally within a high-growth ecommerce or vertical SaaS business with an enterprise customer base.
  4. Strategic content planning experience to create the right content, in the right format, for the right stage of the buyer journey.
  5. Complex project management experience, including a mix of formal and informal internal content creators and outside contractors.
  6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensus-building skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new business domain knowledge to content strategy and asset creation.
  8. Ability to understand, digest, and distill complex concepts for broad consumption via engaging content.
  9. Keyword research skills and basic technical SEO knowledge, including experience tagging and linking content for SEO.
