Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Medical

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Shahzia Khan Medicine Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about healthcare and wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and schedule appointments
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain accurate records
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring our clinic runs efficiently
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring our patients feel valued and supported
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of examinations, and maintain confidential medical files and records
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Electronic mail, MS Excel, and MS Windows
  • Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
