About the Role

Situate Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Visionary: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and drives growth.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure the team's success.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to ensure the team's performance meets the company's expectations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or engineering.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
